Nanidroid Privacy Policy
Nanidroid is an Android app for playing interactive characters, sometimes called “ghosts.” This policy describes how the version of Nanidroid released with this policy handles information.
1. Information handled by the app
Nanidroid processes ghost packages, character interactions, character save data, and app settings on your device to provide its features.
When you import a file through Android’s file picker, Nanidroid reads the file you select and copies the required contents into the app’s storage. Nanidroid does not require access to your Google account, contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
2. Collection and sharing
Nanidroid does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not send your ghost packages, character interactions, character save data, or app settings to CatTail Software LLC. We do not sell this information or share it with third parties through the app.
3. Local storage, retention, and deletion
Imported content, character save data, and preferences are retained locally for as long as they are needed to provide the app’s features or until you delete them.
You can delete Nanidroid’s stored data through Android Settings → Apps → Nanidroid → Storage → Clear storage, or the equivalent option on your device. This removes the app’s installed content, settings, and saved progress.
Original files stored outside Nanidroid remain in their original location and can be deleted separately. Android backup or device-transfer services may handle eligible app data according to your device settings and the service provider’s policies.
4. Third-party services and content
If you select a file from a cloud storage provider through Android’s file picker, that provider handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Ghosts are third-party content. Their scripts and save state are processed on your device. If you open an external link, the browser or other app that handles the link follows its own privacy policy.
5. Support correspondence
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate reported issues.
Please avoid including private information unless it is necessary for your request. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Nanidroid’s functionality or information-handling practices change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update its effective date.
